This Privacy Policy explains how Convivo, a trade name of NINO LLC (“Convivo,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, and shares information when restaurants (our customers) and their guests use the Convivo platform, websites, ordering, kiosk, phone, and messaging services.
We collect information you provide directly — such as a restaurant owner's name, business name, email, and phone number when signing up or requesting a demo; and a guest's name, phone number, email, and order details when placing an order or contacting a restaurant through Convivo.
We also collect technical information automatically, such as device and browser type, IP address, and usage data, to operate and secure the service.
We use information to provide and improve the platform: to build and host restaurant websites, process online orders and payments, operate the AI phone agent, kiosk, and concierge, deliver order updates and (where consented) marketing messages, and to communicate with our customers about their account.
With your consent, Convivo (on behalf of a restaurant) may send you text messages. There are two kinds: transactional messages (for example, order confirmations and “your order is ready” updates) and, only if you separately opt in, marketing messages (specials and promotions).
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of marketing texts at any time by replying STOP to any message; reply HELP for help. Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional messages you have requested. We honor opt-out requests across the platform.
We do not sell your phone number, and we do not share mobile opt-in data or consent with third parties for their own marketing. Phone numbers collected for SMS are used only to deliver the messages you have consented to and to operate the service.
Online payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers; payment data is handled by Stripe under its own terms and security standards.
We share information with the restaurant you order from or contact, and with service providers who help us operate the platform (such as payment processing, messaging/telephony carriers, email delivery, hosting, and AI providers) under agreements that limit their use of the data. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users' safety.
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax, and compliance obligations, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
You may opt out of marketing messages as described above, and request access to or deletion of your personal information by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.
Convivo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
